Bridget Bossart van Otterloo

Bridget Bossart van Otterloo is a still life and landscape painter who currently resides in Corning, New York. She has a degree in Studio Art from Houghton College and has been active in the Corning Art community since 2002.

Bridget got her start working as an apprentice and studio assistant for local artist Thomas S. Buechner. She currently works from her own naturally lit studio, where her subjects include still life, flowers, plants and landscapes painted in both oils and watercolors.  In addition be being a prolific local artist, Bridget has also taught art classes at local youth centers, museums, Corning Community College, and has been on the faculty of 171 Cedar Arts Center in Corning for sixteen years.
